Talented, beautiful, and charismatic, this 15.2 hand bay stallion is everything in person that his exceptional pedigree suggests he should be. His first public foal crop—all bay—also share uncommonly long necks, long legs, pretty heads, and smooth bodies.

Sired by the legendary Park Saddle World Champion CENTERPIECE, and out of a daughter of the grand Stand And Deliver GCH, also a World Champion Park Saddle horse and sire, this athletic young stallion is poised to write a chapter worth reading in the Morgan history books.

Beth Mitchell said it best when she described “Seger” as our Franchise Quarterback here at Scottfield Stables. Alicia purchased Seger in 2014 as a weanling, and he has since gone on to break records and make history as one of only seven horses to have won the Morgan Park Harness World Championship two years in a row, and the only horse to have won both the Park Harness and Park Saddle World Championships back to back. Additionally, Seger and Alicia are the only horse and rider team to have ever won both the Park Harness and Park Saddle world titles together.

There are no words to adequately describe how special this stallion is to us. He is the epitome of a show horse, and we are honored that he has graced both The Saddle Horse Report and The Morgan Horse Magazine covers. Additionally, he was chosen to receive the Year In Review Dedication, an honor given to only one horse annually across the Saddlebred, Hackney and Morgan Breeds. Seger is also quickly becoming a top breeding stallion, with his very first offspring to compete at Grand National (EKL The Fire Inside) coming away with a world title. We anticipate somewhere around 50 Shakedown sired foals due in 2024.
