Treeline Acres Ups the Ante
A while back we received a call from a gentleman looking for a broodmare, who also was hoping to get some general counsel on how best to go about improving his broodmare band to more consistently produce top Morgan show horses. Tuffy and I drove out to personally visit his farm and after spending an afternoon (and evening) at their immaculate facility, we proposed a package of mares that I had carefully assembled that I thought would offer a nice cross-section of top bloodlines and get their revamped program off to a great start.
This group of mares had been carefully curated and earmarked to remain in my personal broodmare band and while it is hard to part with such nice stock, it feels great to know that these girls are going to a fabulous home with a family who is committed to breeding top show horses. We look forward to training the resulting babies in the coming years!

Donegal Hills Gets All Dolled Up
We also sold a homebred mare in January, SFS All Dolled Up, to our long time friends at Donegal Hills Farm in Versailles, KY. While “Hope” is a hard one to part with, (being incredibly bred, by Dressed Up GCH and out of CBMF Stealing The Scene), we are thrilled that this special special filly has earned herself an equally special home and we can’t wait to see her continue in 2024 with trainer Glenn T. Werry.
